Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial

This 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization oversees the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial, a 12-acre memorial site in College Station, Texas, which honors the military service of local veterans and family members from every military conflict in U.S. history. All board members serve voluntarily.

As chief information officer for BVVM, I am responsible for:

Media Relations
I coordinate media participation and attendance at special events and manage distribution of newsworthy content.

Project Management
I manage the organization’s website, online contributions, and develop program bulletins and advertising campaigns.

Coalition Building
I serve on a community veterans committee to coordinate military veteran activities among all nonprofit and public agencies throughout the Brazos Valley region.
