City on Flickr

The City of College Station hosts a variety of family-friendly events throughout the year, and I often capture them in photos for future marketing promotions, department reports and general posterity.

In 2010, I launched the city’s professional Flickr account to serve as a public resource for city event photos. Albums are organized by date and event, and viewers have several download and share options for the photos they like. Staff also uses the embed and share tools to promote recurring events on social media.
